       Bible Survey -- the Writings is designed to give the student a general overview of Psalms, Job, Proverbs, Ruth, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, Esther, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, and 1-2 Chronicles.

Textbooks

LaSor, William, Frederick Bush and David Hubbard. Old Testament Survey. Grand Rapids: Eerdmans.

The Bible (preferably a modern translation such as the New International Version, New Revised Standard Version, or Contemporary English Version)

Course Requirements

1. Read Psalms, Job, Proverbs, Ruth, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, Esther, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, 1-2 Chronicles.

2. Read the Introduction for each book and answer all the questions for each book.

3. Read chapters 39-51 of Old Testament Survey.

       Answers to the questions will be graded only if the student has registered for the course.

Time Requirements

       B204 Bible Survey -- the Writings is designed to be completed in a single quarter. Therefore, it is possible to complete this course in ten weeks.
       The section below must be completed to receive credit for the course.
